Volcanic eruptions can cause cold weather

Volcanic eruption in Iceland can significantly lower temperatures for several years to come. It happened in 1963, 1982 and 1991, and now it is perhaps beginning to happen again. Violent volcanic eruptions could mean temperature drop of several degrees up to a few years after the outbreaks occurred.
